Sorry to all those checking out our blog for our lack of recent posts. We've been told we need to be a little more frequent to keep up with the blogging world. So a couple of weeks ago we went to check out a lake that is in a state park not far from our house. It was still a bit cold, and the lake was frozen over.
We passed some ice fishermen, and saw a lot of holes near a little dam that creates the lake. Elizabeth was all excited because she LOVES swimming in lakes. I got excited to come fish in the summer. There's all kinds of nice trails around the lake, so we're thinking it's prime triathlon training ground. Connecticut's not too bad a place.
Hopefully you'll have more luck than Aaron and I had today . . . not even a nibble. But it was still nice to get outside and the weather wasn't too bad. Probably a little warmer than when you went to that lake by the looks of your picture.
ReplyDeleteelizabeth, be wary of those lakes, the swimmer's itch might get ya. maybe you can catch some little minnows from the lake and feed them to your beta for a nice meal
