Joseph really likes to suck on his fingers as of late, perhaps he just hasn't got the coordination to get only his thumb in. Occasionally he'll stick them all in the way in and gag himself. He's not quite reaching for things knowingly yet, but sure follows with his eyes and head:
Although he doesn't intentionally reach, he has dropped a handful of chili all over Elizabeth's skirt, and took a handful out of my tuna sandwich. Guess we can't hold him while eating dinner any more.
And the best part is that he's started to laugh. His favorite place and time to laugh is when we're changing his diaper on the changing table and we have to change his clothes as well. He's just won us over even more with his laugh:
How precious! I can't believe how well he follows with his eyes and head. What a smart little guy he is. I absolutely love his laugh. I made me miss him a lot. He is such a blessing and so lucky to have the best parents in the world he could possibly have.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I think he must be teething. All my Vernon babies got teeth at 3 months......so watch out- they bite when they get teeth.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool he can sit up on his hands and stuff.
ReplyDeleteWe love the laugh. Someday we hope to meet Joseph in person but for now we really enjoy the pictures and videos.
ReplyDelete'seph is growing up right before our eyes. i figure you should get him started on a weight training program about now, you know give him an advantage over the other kids his age.
ReplyDeletep.s. dad will probably get him some strength shoes too
