Snow snow snow!

We've had quite the winter here in New England. We had a blizzard the day after Christmas that swirled down about a foot of snow. A few weeks later before anything had melted we got about 14 inches. Then a week later another 12, and now we are in the midst of an ice storm. So we have huge piles of snow, now covered with ice. The public schools have probably been closed more than open. I think on the week of Martin Luther King Jr. day they only went to school one day. It's been kind of crazy. We've been having fun. I haven't seen this much snow in a long time and who knows when it will all melt. Here are some fun pictures!


This was our first snow. We made a nice little snow man.





Here's the second snow. This was a HUGE storm. Schools were closed for 2 days and it just dumped down. This is our front door when we opened it to go outside and someone's car that got buried.







Here is storm #3. The piles of snow just keep getting bigger and bigger.









So thanks to Rachel for the little snowsuit that Joseph wears all the time and to my friend Dawn-Marie for the other one. We've been sledding and tromping around in the snow quite a bit. It's been pretty exciting, but I think it might be ok if the groundhog didn't see his shadow . . .
