Holiday Season

We've had a wonderful holiday season. I took off lab a couple of days before Christmas and the whole week between Christmas and New Year's Day. We decided to make an ornament for my Taylor grandparents who make ornaments for all the grandchildren. We wanted to make a baby Jesus in a manger, so we used the wood from an old crib. I made the manger, Elizabeth did the baby and trimmings.

Then we just had to try out the sleds Elizabeth got our family for Christmas. We got about ten inches of snow from the big storm that hit the East coast, and went out a couple of days later to show Joseph how much fun it was. He didn't want to get off the sled, and got mad when we did in order to pull him back up the hill.

Christmas morning Joseph awoke to find the Christmas ornaments (big round balls on the tree) were filled with fruit leather, clementines, and trail mix. What a treat!

He loved the presents mom gave him to play in the pool.

So we had a wonderful Christmas starting new traditions as a family. What a wonderful time of year!
