December

Merry Christmas! Feliz Natal! С Рождеством! Feliz Navidad!

Getting ready for Christmas - here's our tree. Our ever thrifty and deal-finding Elizabeth found this 6' complete tree last year at Goodwill, and it's served us well. I made the star out of the shiny tin stuff from the dollar store, and Elizabeth kept it from last year as well. Looks good when you don't get too close.

Joseph has started eating baby food, and he loves it. And loves getting it on his hands, and on his bib, and his mouth, and everywhere. We know this is normal for babies, but hey, we're first time parents and just have to take pictures of this stuff. You understand.

I just want my food mom. Why are you not feeding me?

MMMM... food.

Row, row, row your boat.

Joseph likes holding big things - boxes, pitchers, brooms. Especially when he can move them.

Trucks and football - early Christmas, but they are fun.

Just looking really cute after eating (guess who fed him this time?)

Joseph doesn't like staying in his car seat if he's not buckled in - he arches his back and slides right out if we're not watching. Then he ends up on the floor like this and just smiles at us.

I want that camera, dad!

Just another cute picture of Joseph.

And if you haven't yet, check out the Church's Christmas page, designed to help us focus on the real meaning of Christmas. It's at http://www.lds.org/topic/christmas/index.html

  1. Food on the face may be a common baby thing - but I'd never seen food on Joseph's face before. So it's not just a "new parent" thing, I think it's a "Joseph is SO cute, it's worth repeating!" thing.
I love seeing pictures of him!
